2009 Annual Report
From the Executive Director:

God has continued His faithful provision during 2008 as Mission Indy continues to:
Equip Christians to Serve Others

Highlights of the year:

Jr. High Hourney Conference
At the end of October Mission Indy was the featured ministry for this convention of about 800 students. We saw many past participating groups and talked with several new groups as well. In addition their offerings generated over $3,000 for the Summer Intern Program!

College Visits
Visits were made to Anderson University, Cedarville University, Cincinnati Christian University, Indiana University, Johnson Bible School, Milligan College, and Purdue University to recruit summer staff. We had many great conversations and look forward to another year's crop of talented and committed interns.

Incredible Summer Staff
We are continually amazed at how god blesses us with such a wonderful opportunity to work with great college students with the Summer Intern Program. We have said it before and continue to believe that is perhaps the most important work we do! We are able to get to know and work with these students for 10 weeks, and so the relationships we build and the impact we can have on them is far greater than what happens during a week-long program. We were particularly blessed to know and work with this group and we pray God's blessings on them — the dream team of 2009!

2009 was a banner year considering the state of the economy and how it has affected other ministries. God showed His faithfulness in ways that cannot even be described or understood. Despite losing about $25,000 in projected income from 2008, and despite not filling up the summer program weeks, we still managed to have a very positive cash flow through the end of the year! Now that is so much like the widows oil and flour that it caused us all to give thanks and ask god what is next? He answered in the form answering our long-time prayer regarding another full time staff person. Matt & Jana Cutler will be re-locating from Ft. Myers, Florida to Indianapolis the first of February and we are all excited to see how God will grow this ministry in the years ahead.

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holes and blameless before Him." - Ephesians 1:3-4
