Mission Indy is dedicated to equipping Christians to serve others.
We do this by encouraging churches to be the Hands & Feet of Jesus where they are planted, challenging participants' thinking and paradigms about what God is doing and how they can be engaged, and training participants in skills and methods of sharing life. We believe that groups who spend time with MI will be motivated to allow God
to use them to faithfully display His wisdom and love.

Flash: Fall Urban Ministry Institute Course Offering Changed The for-credit courses for Fall 2008 have been canceled. They are being changed to a non-credit, single day seminar format. The cost will be $25 per person and will include lunch. We are planning for an early November seminar and a very early December one. We will confirm with specific dates and times soon. 2008 Summer Program Announced The Mission Indy Summer 2008 Summer Program is now open. The dates have been chosen and applications are now being accepted for the Summer Intern Program and for participating groups. Groups: Find your info here and application here. Urban Ministry Institute Changes The Urban Ministry Institute began last fall, with one course. The projected plan for scale-up was that we would be ready for a full course load in the Fall of '07. Registration Deadline had been July 30th. However, it seems the wheels of academia and even our comfortable church culture, move more slowly than what it takes to generate the interest level for all of the courses we hoped to offer. Therefore, it is with much regret that we must cancel the following two courses: At this point we continue to talk with the area churches in hopes of keeping the other two courses, but will keep this site updated. C'est Finis!  The summer program is finally finished. It was a great success: God blessed us in ways we could not imagine. He taught us lessons we weren't expecting to be taught.
